Swarovski Crystal Pearls
Swarovski Crystal Pearls are perfect imitations of natural pearls. Each Swarovski Pearl begins with a crystal sphere that gives the pearl its ideal weight, hence the name Crystal Pearl. Then, each Swarovski Pearl bead is uniformly coated with iridescent, mother-of-pearl like layers. The even coating combined with the crystal base of the pearl beads give them a luminosity and luster similar to that of real pearls.
As a piece of jewelry, Swarovski Crystal Pearls feel good to the touch and offer that sensual experience valued by pearl enthusiasts. As with natural pearls, Swarovski Crystal Pearls adjust to skin temperature.
The advantage of Swarovski Pearls to real pearls is not just their price. These pearls are abrasion-proof, resistant to perfume, perspiration, electroplating, UV light and scratches. They can be washed and dry cleaned.
Have you ever wondered what makes a necklace or bracelet strand of natural pearls so valuable? The actual quality of the individual pearls is only one small part. The real value and beauty comes from the careful selection of a few pearls, from among thousands, that are the same shape and size.
With jewelry made using crystal pearls from Swarovski you can have this same consistency, and because the crystal pearls in your necklace, earring, bracelet, or choker is covered in mother-of-pearl like layers, they will look like the most expensive pearls you can buy, but at a price that is slightly less expensive than [my] cultured pearl jewelry. -source: Looney Maiden Jewelry

custom artist-designed, hand-crafted jewellery sets for brides and bridal parties

I have been networking A LOT this past month. I am posting on my blog a lot more frequently than I used to, and I have joined a multitude of online communities of crafters, artists, artisans, indie business owners/operators, etsy store owners/operators, the list goes on. Suffice it to say, I am making efforts to get my name and my product out there.
As promised, I have started making arrangements for jewellery by erin to get out on the road and bring my product to the customer - or at least to places that are accessible to the customer. On May 24, 2008, I'll have a spot at Opening Day of the Smiths Falls Farmers' Market in the By The Falls parking lot (next to the movie theater). This will be most people's first chance to shop jewellery by erin in person. I'll probably be doing some jewellery-craft demos, and I am offering some sales incentives (Spend $25 or more, get a coupon for 10% off your next purchase; spend $50 or more to be enterred into a draw for a "surprise gift" valued at $55; as always all prices include applicable taxes).
I'm also looking into a few local events; particularly the Smiths Falls Chocolate and Railway Festival and the Perth Garlic Festival.
